Within the scope of ID 403 Context-Based Industrial Design Studio, we held the exhibition “Beyond the Ashes: Shared Memory, Collective Design,” featuring fire-themed projects developed by our 4th-year undergraduate students within the framework of Social Design, at Urladam | January 21–23, 2026.

Shaped through months of field research, expert interviews, and co-design workshops conducted with diverse stakeholders, these projects approached fire not merely as a disaster, but as a social experience encompassing its before, during, and after. Each exhibited outcome addressed real needs identified collaboratively with stakeholders, and was presented as a tool that revitalizes social memory, raises awareness, and makes collective labor and solidarity visible.

We warmly congratulate all our students who worked with great dedication throughout the semester, and extend our sincere thanks to all contributing stakeholders and everyone who visited the exhibition.
