Talk Announcement!

Within the scope of the ID218 – “Research Methods in Design” course conducted by the IZTECH Department of Industrial Design, an online talk will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 10:00. The event is open to the entire faculty, and all interested participants are welcome to attend.

Guest: Yetkin Yazıcı, Industrial Designer
Presentation Title: Design Research to Product
Moderator: Dr. Selin Gürdere Akdur

Yetkin Yazıcı holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and a Master’s degree in Strategic Industrial Design from IED Milano. He began his career as an industrial designer in Istanbul in 2002 and has worked across a wide range of fields, including sports cars, electrical home appliances, exhibition stands, and stage design. Following his education in Milan, he developed product and experience design projects for international clients such as Amplifon and Gaggia at Continuum Innovation. He returned to Istanbul in 2008 and currently provides professional services in industrial design, user-centered innovation, and brand management. He also shares his experience with students as a part-time lecturer in the Department of Industrial Design at Kadir Has University.
