ARED (Outdoor and Industrial Advertisers Association) was founded in Istanbul in 2000 with the aim of bringing together representatives of companies operating in the industrial advertising sector under one roof, protecting the rights and interests of its members, finding solutions to the problems of the sector, and representing the industrial advertising sector in private and public institutions and organizations, as well as abroad. Composed of representatives from the industrial advertising world, ARED operates on a non-profit basis to develop the sector. ARED is a member of FESPA (Federation of Print Advertising Associations). To contribute to the development of the industrial advertising sector, the 11th ARED Awards ’26, now in its eleventh year, is organized in the “Promising Designer Award” category. This year, the competition will be held in a hackathon format at the Izmir Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, May 7, 2026, between 08:00 and 20:00, in collaboration with ETMK (Industrial Designers Professional Organization), Izmir Advertisers Association, Izmir Chamber of Commerce, Izmir University of Economics, Yaşar University, and Izmir Institute of Technology. The goal is to organize the competition in a hackathon format in a different city each year in the coming years.
